Salina, Utah - ever heard of it? No, me either. The one downfall of road trips is that when you have no idea where the hell you actually are, you also have no idea where to eat! Some days you can drive for MILES and HOURS and not pass a restaurant or rest stop...
A stop in Salina was a gamble but The Soda Barn beat the odds.
A random parking lot surrounded by boarded up and out of business store fronts wasn't making this potential find look promising, but hey - this is what BWG is all about!
I'm not a soda drinker but this place could convert me.
How to Soda Barn...
1. pick your size - 12 oz all the way up to 44 oz!
2. pick your soda - Mountain Dew, Goji Dew, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Root Beer, Coke or Pepsi
3. pick your flavor - over 20 options to choose from! Including unconventional flavors like huckleberry, mint and almond
4. take a deep breath, take a sip, try not to have a caffeine induced heart attack and hit the road again!
Now that covers the drinks but what about the food and snacks?
The Soda Barn serves delicious baked goods, grilled cheese, PB & J's, pizza, paninis, tacos, burittos, quesadillas, wraps, salads. nachos, pretzels, ice cream and shaved ice! That's a lot of stuff packed into this little place!
