Outdoor Dining in New Hampshire

Ready or not here it comes... New Hampshire restaurants have been given the green light to open for outdoor dining on May 18th. Outdoor dining in New England can be a little bit of a diamond in the rough due to our unpredictable weather this time of year so we thought we'd help you out and round up some of the best patios to partake in!

Be sure to call ahead before you head out - most places have limited seating available and will require a reservation.

Nothing says "Spring in New England" quite like ocean views, fresh seafood and frozen cocktails!

One of the best spots for waterfront dining in New Hampshire? Portsmouth! Many of the downtown decks will be ready to set tables and shuck shells for opening weekend.

Martingale Wharf - Opening May 18th

Follow the blue lights down to the deck and you can't miss it! Relax and enjoy the views while you sip on their signature crafty cocktails and snack on some freshly caught apps from the raw bar.

99 Bow St suite w, Portsmouth, NH

Old Ferry Landing - Opening May 21st

A sunset at Old Ferry Landing should definitely be added to your Portsmouth bucket list. Work your way down the docks and end here for the views and a famous "Jimmy Juice".

10 Ceres St, Portsmouth, NH

River House - Opening May 18th

A great place for dinner and a show at Prescott Park. Start with their seafood chowder, it's one of the best in New England!

53 Bow St, Portsmouth, NH

Akwa Marina Beach Bar - Opening May 18th

Okay, not in Portsmouth, but waterfront nonetheless. Located in Laconia, this beach bar and yacht club overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee (that's win-a-pah-saki). Still weary of dining with others? Arrive by boat!

95 Centenary Ave, Laconia, NH

Let's be honest, no one is complaining about this "beer to go" thing. We hope this continues to be a thing but let's be real - it always tastes better straight from the tap.

Pipe Dream Brewing - Opening May 18th

Our favorite local watering hole for when we're feelin' that island vibe. This place is sure to lift your spirits up, especially if that upcoming beach vacation you've been looking forward to has been canceled! The Pipe Dream parking lot will be open for outdoor chillin' reggae beats and west coast brewskis.

49 Harvey Rd, Londonderry, NH 03053

Woodstock Inn & Brewery - Opening May 21st

This is always a pit stop when we're up in the North Country! A great place to stay, drink and dine. They have FOUR bars but only outdoor dining will have to do for now.

135 Main Street, North Woodstock, NH

Thompson Tavern - Opening May 18th

Dine in downtown Dover! Patio seating will be reservation only and the courtyard will be on a first come first serve basis. The spot for sports, happy hour and pub grub.

421 Central Ave, Dover, NH

Holy Grail - Opening May 22nd

A church turned Irish pub opening just in time for you to worship their patio on Sunday. They will be open Friday-Sunday from 12-8pm with a modified menu - still featuring the favorites!

64 Main St, Epping, NH

You really can't complain about this one either. Is there any better place to sip wine other than with views of the vines it was made from?!

Sweet Baby Vineyard - Opening May 21st

We definitely haven't been without wine this quarantine - SBV was one of our first stock up stops. We can't wait to join them back at the vineyard though, this drinking wine alone thing is getting a little old... The owners have been hard at work transforming the property to allow for more outdoor space and socially distant yard games!

LaBelle Winery - Opening May 20th

Stay for the wine and order from their farm-to-fork menu before you go. Looking to tie the knot but can't find a venue? Check out their new wedding packages!

345 NH-101, Amherst, NH

Appolo Vineyards - Opening May 18

Enjoy a glass out on "The Crush Pad" and be one with the grapes. They have some perfect summertime sippers that are light, crisp and refreshing - these pair perfectly with a nice sunny day!

49 Lawrence Rd, Derry, NH

If you do go out, just remember - be kind, be patient and always tip your server!
